Creating Young Local Historians Project commences

Welcome to the first post for the Ashgrove - Creating Young Local Historians Project.

We're planning a great project launch party to happen in Ashgrove, Brisbane soon and we've got lots of fun history activities in mind so come back here soon for all the news.

Our project leaders are:

- Lindy Sugars - President of the Ashgrove Historical Society and

- Daryll Bellingham - Storyteller.

You can become a Y.E.A.H.  - can you guess what this stands for and post a comment below. The first successful answer gets an exciting, free QR code. (What's that? What's that? Duhh.)

'Lindy, I've been wondering. How did Ashgrove get its name?'  (Daryll)

  1. Ashgrove sounds like a grove of Ash trees but they don't normally grow in Ashgrove.
